SHIFTING GEARS TO STAY ON THE FAST TRACK is the title of this year's conference. This annual event has historically been the largest one in the world of public mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse services in North Carolina, and has been well attended by service users since the years of the mental health reform. So what's in it for Consumers or self-advocates? First, there is an open forum opportunity for consumers and consumer-supporters attending the conference scheduled for Wednesday evening at 5:30. Location will be posted and will be available at the NC CANSO booth in the exhibit hall.
